Malaysian Hijab Cosplayer

Salam and Hi, Welcome to our Hijab Cosplay Website's Online Interview! Tell us briefly about yourself in your own words that is related to how you started to cosplay.

My name is Nur Husna. I'm a hijab cosplayer from Selangor, Malaysia. The first time I saw cosplayer during Animangaki 2016, but I didn't notice if there's a hijab cosplayer or not and not attending any ACG Events after that until I attended Comic Fiesta 2017 and that's the first time I saw hijab cosplayer. After that, I feel like want to try hijab cosplay. Sadly I didn't have a chance to try cosplay due to personal priority. So I kept the intention to cosplay about a year after that. Finally on Comic Fiesta 2018 I got the chance to cosplay for the first time.

Q1: Do you have a special name, or cosplay name?

I do have the cosplay name but I use the name on instagram Koyuki Rikka but somehow people usually call me "Husna"

Q2: When did you start to cosplay / hijab cosplay?

Q5: Most of your props are DIY?

I'm not that creative to make one. Even my first cosplay props (Tsuyuri Kanao's sword) I ordered from a prop maker.

Q6: What is your most favorite Anime? Cartoon? or Tv-Shows

I got many favorite anime but most favorite are Fairy Tail (the first anime that I like) and Sword Art Online.

Q7: Do you still recall of whom inspired you to venture and further improve your Hijab cosplay?

From my cosplay partner, Salina Erlin. She's the first hijab cosplayer that smile to me at Comic Fiesta 2018, after that we became friends and my cosplay partner. She always encourage me in hijab cosplay.

Q8: Do you find Hijab Styling for Cosplay Difficult?

Yes, at first it was a challenge, while at the same time I want to try new hijab style that covering aurah since my priority in cosplay is covering aurah first.

Q9: Do you do your own cosplay hijab style or do you get inspired from other hijab cosplayers?

Maybe

Q10: How many hours (or days) did you spend on average to complete one set of cosplay?

2 hours maybe because I don't like rushing in any situation

Q13. What is your most favorite Cosplan? Since cosplayers usually has a few Cosplans in a year, here you can tell which one is your most favorite cosplan and why

Takanashi Rikka from Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai because of her cute chuunibyou traits that makes me like to cosplay her

Q14. Do you also draw your own artwork?

Before I'm into cosplay I used to draw chibi but too shy to reveal it and due to busy on my personal priority, I'm not drawing chibi anymore. But still trying my best to improve my chibi drawing.

Q15. Do you currently have a favorite Husbando / Waifu?

My husbando always be Leo the Lion from Fairy Tail ( my first husbando ) and Kirito in Sword Art Online version from Sword Art Online ( second husbando )

Play with cats

It is fun and to get involve with other Cosplayers, while making new contacts

Q20, What would u do if people judge your cosplay hobby?

I just ignore them because it's not important to entertain these type of people.
